Open to beginners! Current college and high school students are invited for San Diego Mesa College's first 24 hour hackathon starting at 9AM on Friday, June 1st and ending at 9PM. Themed in sustainability, collaborate in teams to create anything from applications to websites to hardware devices that provide solutions to some of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals! Present your project and get the chance to receive prizes for your work!

    How much thought and technical work went into your project.
  • Polish
    How complete is your project? Don't worry about not having your project completely finalized. This category is more focused on how cohesive your finalized project ideas are.
  • Originality
    How fresh and creative is your project? Has it been already been done before?
  • Usefulness
    Does your project have useful real-world applications?
  • Sustainability
    How well does your project meet the theme of this hackathon? There will be a prize awarded to the team that meets this specific category best.
  • Soft Skills
    How well was your project managed throughout the event? How well did you present your project? Did your group work as a team?
